By webmaster | March 10, 2009

Euphorbia "Diamond Frost"

Euphorbia “Diamond Frost” made its debut 2005, originating from the breeder Proven Winners. This plant has been very popular throughout the country, and has the distinction of Most Award Winning Plant in Proven Winners history.

Diamond Frost is a beautiful plant with airy clouds of tiny white flowers. It blooms continuously throughout the spring, summer and fall. Despite its rather delicate appearance, it withstands heat and drought very well. Annual except in zones 10-11, it can be over-wintered with some protection. It is an excellent plant for containers, used in the middle ground of a combination.

Diamond Frost has a mounded growth habit, and grows 12”-18” tall. It tolerates full sun to partial shade. It is moderately salt tolerant – it can withstand the amount of salt encountered when planted 30 feet or more from the source of the salt. This plant is self-cleaning; no deadheading necessary.
