THE WOODLANDS GARDEN CLUB Board Members held their first Board Meeting of the 2009/2010 year and are busily preparing for the club’s first regular monthly meeting Tuesday, September 8 at 9:15 a.m. at the Auburn Lakes Recreation Center. The club meets the second Tuesday of the month September through May, and club president, Jane Torrance, is looking forward to another outstanding year for the organization. The club was awarded the Texas GARDEN CLUB OF THE YEAR 2008/09 based on the group’s many and varied projects, programs and activities.
The mission of The Woodlands Garden Club is to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening, conservation, horticulture and design and to encourage and promote civic interest in the attainment of these objectives and to pursue these goals in harmony with nature.
